LOCATION

Jávea (Xàbia) lies in the most south-eastern tip of the Mediterranean coast of Spain. You can see Ibiza on clear days. This coastal village is surrounded by flat, fertile soil full of citrus and olive trees. Behind it lies the Montgo mountain range with peaks of more than 750 m. There are 4 capes: Cabo de San Antonio, Cabo de la Nao (the largest), Cap Negre and Cap Martí.

Jávea has a historic center, which is very nice to visit. There are monuments from the 15th century, nice white houses with the typical iron fences, the San Bartolemé church and the covered Mercat Municipal market hall which gives you a glimpse into the old Spanish history of this town.

Jávea also has a nice port, where small fishing boats arrive every day. There is a large outdoor market every week. Javea has a coastline of no less than 20 km! And there are a total of 9 beaches. The most important and biggest beach is Platja de Arenal.
